Busy Saturday
So I’m writing this from between classes at Wordcamp Minneapolis — I’m here to learn how to get more out of WordPress, which is the platform I use to run this site. Thus far, it’s been mixed bag — the first 9AM session I attended wasn’t very useful, but did go quickly, so I jumped into the last half of another talk, and it was much more useful. The 10AM session was pretty good, and I’m about to delve into another one before lunch here.
It’s tough, given how beautiful it is outside. I’d like to go for a long ride.
After WordCamp
I have to run over to St. Thomas, and pick up my niece, Savanna. We’re going to hit up a local bike shop for a fitting so that we can build her the bike she’ll need for college. Since she’s 6’9″, a stock bike isn’t really a solution.
After that, it’s back to St. Paul for the Omnium Bike Shop Anniversary BBQ.
I’m not going to stay too long, however. I’ve got some workshop time tonight — been slaying it on Erin’s new CX frame and need to get the back end on Jamie’s road frame.
